Our Story

Where It All Began

It started with a simple frustration we couldn't ignore. Quarter after quarter, we watched strong investment teams lose days to busywork: onboarding by email, capital calls from spreadsheets, and tax packs finalized long after midnight. None of it built lasting value. It just kept the lights on. We'd seen both sides, inside funds and as LPs, and decided to fix what was broken: the operational flow that slowed great teams down. And we built Ashta.ai so the real work deals, risk, and relationships could move forward without friction.

Listening Before Building

Before writing code, we listened. Managers across real estate, private credit, private equity, venture, and hedge funds told us the same thing: they didn't want faster processes; they wanted confidence. They wanted numbers that tied to the general ledger, exceptions caught before delivering to LPs, and compliance that wasn't a fire drill. That became our blueprint. We built explainable automation, surfaced auditable anomaly flags, and produced defensible cash-flow projections so decisions could move faster with trust.

Khushboo Jha

Khushboo brings over 15 years of experience in technology, finance, and operations across Amazon, Deutsche Bank, and Accenture. An MBA graduate of the Wharton School at UPenn, she has led large-scale initiatives across the US, UK, India, and Canada.

At Amazon, she built and launched two marketplaces, applying AI to drive efficiency at scale. Her deep understanding of both alternative investments and enterprise technology led her to found Ashta.ai, a platform purpose-built to modernize how fund managers operate.
